Computer running slow? IgLou’s Tune-Up service can help shorten boot-time, remove unwanted files and eliminate unnecessary background processes. We’ll also ensure that anti-virus and anti-spyware is functioning properly, optimize Internet settings, and help solve any other problems that may be affecting system performance.

Virus and Spyware Removal
Computer viruses and spyware can be devastating to your computer, network and valuable data. The effects can even worsen over time, so having proper disinfection is absolutely critical. Service includes disinfection of a single computer running Windows XP/Vista/7, or MacOS X.

Error Troubleshooting
Is your computer giving you weird errors or crashes on a regular basis? In most cases, IgLou can find and fix software and hardware problems quickly. If we can’t fix the problem, you owe us nothing.

Wireless Network Installation
Setting up wireless network security can be difficult and confusing, especially with multiple computers. Service includes setup and configuration of one wireless router and up to two wireless devices to your broadband enabled network. Hardware not included in price.

Wireless Troubleshooting
Wireless networking problems can often be difficult to resolve, especially on networks where WEP or WPA security is enabled. IgLou wireless troubleshooting includes diagnosis and repair of network connectivity between one wireless router and up to two wirelessly connected computers.

IgLou has extensive experience in diagnosing and fixing Internet related problems. We can assist with simple home Internet network and wireless problems, and we can help diagnose slowdowns or intermittent problems with your Internet broadband or dialup connectivity.

New PC or Printer Installation
IgLou will assist with the unpacking, setup and configuration of one new computer system, monitor and/or one additional peripheral device. We will also install all necessary device drivers and will configure users to connect to Internet/Email.

Miscellaneous Software Issues

Desktop & Laptop Upgrades
Save money and let one of our technicians upgrade your computer or laptop. Service includes installation of your choice of one of: memory, hard-drive, CD-ROM drive, DVD drive, printer, scanner or digital camera. Includes installation of the upgrade into the system case, partitioning and formatting of any hard drives, and installation of driver software. Data transfer or backups for hard-drives not included in price.

Data Backup and Migration
Losing your valuable personal or business data can be devastating. Most people don’t make proper backups regularly if at all. IgLou can help show you how to make regular backups and even install backup hardware for you. We also provide a Remote Backup service for small business owners who need dependable offsite storage. IgLou can also assist with migration of your data to a new computer or new hard-drive.

Drop-Off Service
IgLou’s rate for drop-off service in Louisville, KY is billed at a rate of $55/hour. However, we can usually provide a guaranteed flat-rate estimate prior to any work being performed. IgLou offers a minimum diagnostic fee of $19.95 to diagnose your computer. If you elect to have us repair your problem, the diagnostic fee is waived.

Remote Support
IgLou offers remote technical support using your existing broadband connection. After visiting our remote support website, our technicians will be able to view your screen and control your computer while you watch. We can provide assistance for most software problems.

XBOX Installation
Setting up your XBOX can be difficult and confusing, let our XBOX experts come to your home and do it for you. We can connect your XBOX to your tv, set up and configure your online and user accounts, install updates and assign parental controls. Hardware not included in price.
